What is included
INCLUDED:
We will organise accommodation (double occupancy) ranging from nice tourist hotels in some cities to remote mountain and desert auberges, provide enduro or trail bikes, and back up vehicle, enabling clients to enjoy the security of escorted off-road routes on a choice of piste tracks in the South of Morocco, led by the Moroccan-based owners/riders and their local support team. Language will not cause any difficulty as the owners are fluent in both Arabic and French, which are the main languages spoken in the region. There are 14 places available on each trip, and we operate all year round, except for high summer from the end of June to the end of August.
NEEDED:
An inclusive tour means just that. Full board and accommodation are included in the tour price, as of course are bike hire, back-up and 3rd party vehical insurance cover. The only extras you would need to pay for upon arrival in Ouarzazate would be riding equipment (available for rental for 30 GBP per day), drinks and souvenirs, should you find that essential purchase in one of the local markets.
Accommodation differs greatly from the luxury of the large hotels in the centre of town frequented by film crews to small hotels in the Atlas Mountains and auberges at the dunes and in some of the oases.
Insurance cover - local third party insurance cover is provided, but it is essential that you take out your own travel insurance to cover medical, repatriation and legal fees. You will also need a full bike licence.
All that is left for you to do, is to get yourself down there.
There are three daily flights to and from Ouarzazate, and numerous discount or budget flights to Marrakech. Others may want to incorporate a single day's riding into an existing holiday plan, though we would advise you to confirm places in advance to avoid disappointment. We are a Moroccan based and British run agency that offer comprehensive tours of between 1 and 7 days in the south of Morocco.
